Tahun ini di area Sports DongA meluncurkan upacara penghargaan musik baru untuk menghormati para artis yang menggemparkan dunia K-pop selama setahun terakhir.
D Awards Delights (Blue Label)”yang juga dikenal sebagai hadiah utama upacara (Bonsang)diberikan kepada artis K-pop yang memberi dampak selama setahun terakhir.
Sementara “D Awards Dreams (Silver Label)” diberikan kepada artis pendatang baru yang akan memimpin masa depan K-pop.
